Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

Over the weekend a weather system from the Gulf of Alaska will move toward Oregon and Washington bringing rain to sections of the west side and wet thundershowers with winds over much of the east side. This wetter, cooler pattern will continue into the new week. Despite more lightning expected, potential for new large fires appears to be low due to the moisture anticipated with this weather system.
