Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

Fire potential will moderate across the east side of the region as general winds diminish following Friday’s dry frontal system. A thermal trough developing in southwest Oregon will reverse the wind direction to create offshore flow over the west side. Overall, fire danger remains high. Warm and dry weather is expected to continue over the weekend and through the coming week.
