Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

An upper weather disturbance will move over the region today bringing more instability, lightning, and significantly boosting winds from the Cascade Crest eastward. The strongest wind gusts are expected on the Cascade Crest and through the Columbia River Gorge and also in the Columbia Basin. Much of the west side will become cloudy with scattered showers and potential isolated wet thunderstorms.
