Lightning chances and coverage increase across southern, central, and eastern Oregon today and into early next week with strong outflow winds possible. Hot, dry, and unstable conditions remain today across much of the region and continue east of the Cascades through the weekend. Lightning could stretch into southern and eastern Washington beginning Sunday and continuing into next week.
