Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
A dry westerly flow over the region for the next few days will give us lightning free conditions. A Pacific trough will move in on Friday, increasing westerly winds across the region but also providing further cooling. The next issue will be a return to a lightning pattern as we move into the latter part of the weekend and into next week.
