There have been a lot of questions related to the Hurricane Road status and I need to be more specific than I was in my earlier message.
The County portion is open. Those who want to visit friends who have homes along the road are now able to do that. The public can drive to the Forest boundary; but no further.
The Forest Service portion is still closed; as is the campground and the trailhead.
I'm sorry for the confusion.
