Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential
:

Burning conditions will continue to moderate over the next 4 or 5 days as cooler and moister weather moves in over the region. However, lightning will be on the increase as well so that IA activity will elevate. Tuesday looks to be a potentially active IA day due to lightning. There is a pretty good chance that lightning will be generally wet in Washington and drier as you move southward. Warming and drying is expected again by next weekend.
